From Frank Taylor’s humble beginnings in 1993 in the clubhouse of a small apartment complex where he asked the community to bring a canned good to watch the upcoming artists perform at his supposed one time event Showcase of the South, to his now two local Atlanta operating offices, three annual events including Showcase of the South and his T.E.A.M. Foundation Non-Profit Organization, Taylor is determined to help not only those with dreams of being successful artists but the kids and community they come from. Taking notice and recognizing Frank’s philanthropic efforts are not only the artists and the fans but the city as well.

In 2002, Mayor Shirley Franklin and the City of Atlanta awarded Frank with a Proclamation making August 31, 2002 and November 29, 2006 the official “Showcase of tho South Day” and November 2 , 2008 the official “Frank Taylor Day” as well as several awards from Sesac and Atlanta City Council. In March of 2009 Frank was issued a Resolution from the House of Representatives. For over a decade Frank Taylor has seen countless artists grace the stages of his various events, including teen pop sensation B5, Jagged Edge, Sean Paul, Latasha Scott, the Anoint Pace Sisters, Ludacris, Taralyn Ramsey, One Chance, and India Arie. When asked what he wants to be remembered for, Taylor modestly says, “That I gave my all to everything I ever touched.”
